Bambu Lab X1E Carbon 3D printer

3D Printing – Bambu Lab X1E Carbon

We run a Bambu Lab X1E Carbon 3D printer for rapid prototyping and custom parts. It delivers accurate, durable components direct from CAD, cutting lead times and cost.

  • Prints carbon-fiber reinforced materials for high strength
  • High-speed output with clean surface finish
  • Large build volume for complex geometries
  • Advanced monitoring for dimensional repeatability

Ideal for low-volume production, prototypes, and custom tooling. Combine with our machining, welding, and fabrication for end-to-end delivery.

Provide us with a CAD drawing or have us draw one for you, we will provide a quote on enquiry.

Materials We Print on the Bambu Lab X1E

Our Bambu Lab X1E Carbon printer supports a wide range of filaments, from everyday plastics to high-performance engineering composites. This flexibility allows us to deliver prototypes, functional parts, and production-ready components that meet demanding requirements.

  • Standard Plastics: PLA, PETG, PET, TPU (flexible)
  • Engineering Plastics: ABS, ASA (UV-resistant), PC (Polycarbonate), Nylon (PA, PA6, PAHT)
  • Fibre-Reinforced Composites: PLA-CF / PLA-GF, PETG-CF / PETG-GF, PET-CF / PET-GF, PC-CF / PC-GF, ABS-CF / ABS-GF, ASA-CF / ASA-GF, PPA-CF / PPA-GF, PPS / PPS-CF

3D-Printed Parts Shown

Examples of small-format production parts we print for sealing, protection, and connectors. All shown are printable in TPU, Nylon, PETG, ASA, or PC to match flexibility, heat, and chemical needs.

  • Gaskets & O-Rings: flat ring gaskets and circular O-rings for flanges and housings.
  • Bellows & Boots: ribbed strain-relief and dust boots for cables and actuators.
  • Grommets: snap-fit pass-throughs for sheet metal or plastic panels.
  • Cable Plugs & Caps: protective end caps and blanking plugs for unused ports.
  • Connector Housings: multi-pin shells, keyed inserts, and backshell covers.
  • Sealing Plugs: tapered and barbed plugs for pressure or vacuum ports.
  • Bumpers & Feet: impact-absorbing standoffs and feet for equipment.
  • Clips & Hooks: quick-release cable clips and retention hooks.
  • Mounting Fixtures: small jigs, locator blocks, and test fixtures.
  • Custom Profiles: rack sections, spacers, hex washers, and odd-geometry seals.

How to Order

Two paths. Same outcome: accurate parts, on time.

If you already have a CAD model

  1. Upload files: STEP, STL, IGES, or 3MF.
  2. Add notes: quantities, target tolerances, deadline.
  3. We run a design check and flag risks.
  4. You get a fixed quote with lead time.
  5. Approve and pay deposit.
  6. We schedule, produce, inspect, and ship or ready for collection.

If you need us to draw it

  1. Send a sketch, photos, or sample with key dimensions.
  2. We scope the work and price the CAD.
  3. We model the part and share a proof for sign-off.
  4. Minor tweaks included; major changes are re-quoted.
  5. After approval, we quote the print.
  6. Approve and pay deposit. We produce, inspect, and deliver.

What increases cost

  • Tight tolerances, thin walls, or large parts close to build limits.
  • Heavy support requirements or complex overhangs.
  • Fine layer heights, high infill, or multiple iterations.
  • Post-processing: sanding, smoothing, drilling/tapping, inserts, paint.
  • Rush lead times or small one-off orders.
  • Fixing broken files or missing dimensions.

What we need to quote fast

  • File(s) + overall size, critical dims, and any tolerance targets.
  • Quantity and latest acceptable delivery date.
  • Any special finish or post-processing required.

3D Printing Service – Prototypes & Production Parts

Industrial 3D Printing in Milton Keynes

Based near Milton Keynes, we support engineering firms, manufacturers, and product developers across the UK. Our 3D printing service is used for rapid prototyping, replacement components, tooling aids, and production-ready plastic parts.

We focus on functional parts that actually get used in workshops, machines, and assemblies — not just display prints.

If you need parts quickly to keep production moving, we can print, finish, and dispatch fast.

Materials We Print

We run reliable, calibrated machines suited for consistent batch printing and accurate parts.

Common materials:

  • PLA (fast prototypes, fixtures, visual parts)

  • PETG (stronger functional parts)

  • ABS (engineering components)

  • Nylon (wear-resistant parts)

  • Carbon-filled filaments (rigid tooling and brackets)

If you’re unsure what material you need, send the application and we’ll spec it properly.

Prototype & Production Printing

We handle:

  • One-off prototypes

  • Test fit parts

  • Jigs and fixtures

  • Machine components

  • Small batch production

  • End-use plastic parts

For repeat orders, we lock in settings and run consistent batches so parts match every time.

If you plan to move from prototype to machining or fabrication later, we can support that in-house.

Accuracy & Tolerances

Typical tolerance:
±0.1–0.25 mm depending on size and material.

We calibrate machines regularly and print test pieces to maintain repeatability.
Critical dimensions can be machined post-print if needed.

File Types Accepted

Send:

  • STEP

  • STL

  • OBJ

  • Technical drawings

  • Sample parts

No file? Describe what you need and we’ll help model it.

Fast Turnaround

Most jobs:

  • Same-week completion

  • Next-day possible for urgent parts

  • Batch printing available

Collection or UK delivery available.

Why Use Our 3D Printing Service
