THIS 3D PRINTED JIG WAS PRODUCED TO ASSIST WITH THE ACCURATE LOCATION, SUPPORT OR REPEATABLE HANDLING OF PARTS USED WITHIN A NUCLEAR-RELATED APPLICATION. THE JIG PROVIDES A PRACTICAL WORKSHOP SOLUTION WHERE CONSISTENCY, CONTROL AND PART PROTECTION ARE IMPORTANT DURING MANUFACTURE, ASSEMBLY OR INSPECTION.
BY USING INDUSTRIAL 3D PRINTING, THE JIG COULD BE PRODUCED WITH A PURPOSE-BUILT GEOMETRY TO SUIT THE COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR TRADITIONAL MACHINED TOOLING.
